Following a full update of our Quality Processes to transition to ISO9001:2015 and our recent ISO9001 Surveillance Audit by BSI, SDE is pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO9001:2015 Accreditation and retained our AQAP Registration.
ISO 9001:2015 is based on Annex SL, a new high level structure (HLS) that brings a common framework to all ISO management systems. This helps to keep consistency, align different management system standards, offer matching sub-clauses against the top-level structure and apply common language across all standards. With the new standard structure in place, organizations will find it easier to incorporate their quality management system into the core business processes and get more involvement from senior management. The clauses of the new high level structure can be applied to the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle which in turn can be applied to all processes and to the quality management system as a whole.
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:
- a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
