SDE are delighted to have been selected by BAE Systems to provide continuation of support to the Maritime Indirect Fire System (MIFS) for the Type 26 Programme.
SDE will provide Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) to support Weapon, Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives (WOME) integration and safety for the new 5 inch gun system being introduced into service with the Type 26 Frigate. Our team will apply extensive Explosive Safety Management expertise gained from delivery of similar WOME integration and safety support to multiple new and in-service platforms to the Royal Navy.
