SDE are pleased to announce that we have again been selected by BAE Systems to provide continuation of support to the Warship Technical Authority for the Type 45 Destroyer Programme.
SDE will provide a Lead SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel) safety engineer for the duration of the task. Our SQEP safety engineer will bring detailed Type 45 explosive safety management knowledge, including Explosives Safety Processes (JSP 520) and warship and weapons safety requirements (JSP 482 and Def Stan 00-101) in order to support key outputs such as monitoring and supporting the Type 45 Class Explosives Safety Case Report (CESCR). SDE look forwards to continuing to deliver support to BAE Systems and being part of a team supporting delivery of core capability to the Royal Navy.
